Horizontal Elongated Smyrna is a cousin to the regular Smyrna Cross Stitch.

Reversed or "Alternating" Mosaic Stitch is made up of smaller mosaic stitches, some of which have been reversed in the canvas. The way the stitch is organized gives way to a larger pattern when stitched in the canvas.
Diagonal Triple Parisian Stitch
Diagonal Triple Parisian Stitch is made of groups of three stitches that span over two canvas thread and groups of three stitches that span over four canvas threads.
Old Florentine Stitch
Old Florentine Stitch is a great background stitch. It is made up of pairs of vertical straight stitches that span over two and over six canvas threads.
Byzantine #5 Stitch
Byzantine Stitch produces a diagonal zigzag canvas. You will need a large area to support a stitch this large and busy.
Cashmere Stitch- Vertical
Cashmere Stitch- Vertical is made up of tent stitches and diagonal stitches over two. This stitch makes an upright rectangle in the canvas.

Any time you hear the term Rhodes Stitch it should be a clue that you will be layering stitches.
