Q: I’m new! Where do I start?
A: Yay! We're so glad you're here. We have several beginner kits that contain everything you need to get you from start to finish on a project. Our beginner kits include basic stitch instructions, threads, scissors, project bag, and a 13 count canvas with needle. Click here to shop our beginner kits!
Q: Does the canvas include threads?
A: The price of the canvas is for the canvas only, unless it is identified as a “kit.” If you would like threads chosen for your canvas, they are an additional charge that will be invoiced at a later time. We do offer full kits that can be found here.
Q: What does “kit this” mean?
A: “Kit this” means we will select the threads for your canvas! We have two options - one is with DMC Pearl Cotton only and the other is KCN Chooses, which means we pick our favorite fibers that could include a mix of specialty fibers. The threads will be an additional charge that will be invoiced to you separately. This charge is not included in your initial canvas cost.

Q: What is a Preorder?
A: A canvas labeled "preorder" means that canvas is not in stock. After we receive your order, we reach out to the designer and order it for you. You are charged at the time of purchase for the canvas. The wait time for an item that is not in stock and labeled as a “preorder” may take anywhere from one to six months, usually averaging 2-3 months.
If you're looking for a project and want to get started straight away, we recommend shopping our In Stock Canvases.
Q: I want to cancel my pre-order. What should I do?
A: If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at kcneedlepoint@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate.
Q: Do you ever re-stock canvases that say “Out of Stock?” What if there is a specific canvas I want you to restock or I don’t see it on your website?
A: We can preorder it for you! Send us an email with a picture/link and we will do our best to get it in stock for you.
Q: Can I add a custom name to a stocking?
A: Yes! Please put the name and if you would like script or block font in the “notes” section at checkout. It’s $25 for block or $35 for script fonts. 
Q: Can I modify my order after it has been placed?
A: At this time, we can’t accommodate order add ons. Please place an additional order - it’s free shipping!
If you need to change your shipping address, please reach out to us at kcneedlepoint@gmail.com ASAP with the correct address, order number and we will do our best to get that change made.
Q: Can you kit a canvas I bought somewhere else?
A: Yes! We will be choosing colors from a picture, but are happy to do it. Please email us at kcneedlepoint@gmail.com with a picture of your canvas, mesh size, design size and thread preferences. Please give us a few weeks to invoice you for the threads.
SHIPPING
Q: How long will my order take to ship?
A: We are currently on a 5-10 business day turnaround. This is subject to change due to sales and volume. We are a small business but strive to get your packages to you quickly! We do offer expedited shipping options at check out if needed.
If you have placed an order and have not received a shipment notification after two weeks, please contact us.
Q: Tracking shows my package was delivered, but it's not here. What should I do?
A: Please allow 2 business days for the package to show up before reaching out to us.
Q: Can I do in-store pickup for something I ordered online?
A: Yes! Please select “Pick Up” at checkout. We will send you a notification when your order is ready for pick up.
RETURNS
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes! Please send unopened/unused items back to us at 8050 Wornall Rd. Kansas City, MO, 64114. Please include your name and order number. We will issue a refund once we receive and process the return.
Q: My order is incorrect or damaged.
A: We are so sorry about that! Please email us with your order number and the items you are missing/damaged and we will get the correct items sent asap.
