Looking for the ultimate stitching weekend away? Join us for a one of a kind needlepoint extravaganza in Kansas City, April 16-18, 2027!
An incredible stitching event is coming and registration is now open. Spend the weekend with the KC Needlepoint team and some of your favorite KCN designers.
Weekend Highlights:
The retreat kicks off Friday morning at the Cascade Hotel on the Country Club Plaza in the hotel ballroom. Enjoy exclusive access to the KCN Designers Trunk Show all weekend.
• Friday: Stitching begins at 9 AM, with lunch provided at the hotel. Wrap up the day with a welcome Happy Hour—mix, mingle, and meet the artists!
• Saturday: Another full day of stitching, shopping, and inspiration. Lunch is provided, and the evening ends with a casual Happy Hour before heading out to explore the Plaza’s incredible restaurants.
• Sunday: Our final day of the retreat runs from 9 AM–12 PM with one last lunch and chance to shop the trunk show.
Want to check out the KC Needlepoint retail store? A complimentary shuttle will run continuously between the hotel and shop on Friday and Saturday—hop on anytime!
If you're looking to take a class over the weekend, we will have several wonderful options to choose from. Classes will take place on Friday and Saturday. Expert KC Needlepoint teachers are working up several fun class offerings you won't want to miss out on. Details of all education opportunities will be unveiled shortly and are an optional add on to your weekend experience. Class fees will be billed separately at a later date.
The cost of registration for the weekend is $575. The registration fee is NON-refundable.
A block of rooms has been held for participants at a discounted rate of $239 per night (plus applicable taxes & fees) at the Cascade Hotel. A link to sign up for the hotel will be sent to all retreat participants.
Hotel rooms will be reserved separately and are not included in the weekend fee. You will need to reserve your hotel room on your own.
