IN SHOP: Intro to Finishing Class - March 12 & 19

In this class, students will learn how to finish a 4-inch round needlepoint canvas into an ornament. The class covers each step of the finishing process including creating the pieces, assembling the needlepoint ornament, making cording, and sewing the cording onto the final piece. This class is perfect for stitchers who want to gain confidence finishing their own small projects and learn skills they can use again and again. Stitchers should bring one 4 inch round stitched and blocked and one 8x8 inch square of cotton fabric. All other tools will be provided. Students must attend both sessions to complete the finishing process.
