Wicker Stitch
The Wicker Stitch is a great stitch for baskets and other woven items. For a realistic effect, try using one of our favorite threads: Straw Silk.
Because of the large repeat to the pattern, we suggest saving it for large open areas of canvas, like backgrounds. It also works well for borders.
