Diagonal Mosaic Stitch

Diagonal Mosaic Stitch is always one of the first decorative stitches we recommend learning. 

It is made up of alternating stitches over two canvas threads and over one. When you start your second row, you will find that your stitches over two meet up with stitches over one on the diagonal- and vice versa.
