Byzantine Mosaic Stitch

Byzantine Mosaic Stitch is made up of a combination of Byzantine Stitches done over two canvas threads and Mosaic Stitches in alternating diagonal rows. It is a composite stitch as it is made up of two or more different stitches used in combination with each other. 

The stitched example below is done in Neon Rays Plus (for the Mosaic Stitches) and Pepper Pot Silk (for the zigzag lines).
