This month's Stitch of the Month is a two for one! This month we're talking about two of our favorite stitches: T-Stitch and Satin Stitch!

The white background is stitched in T-Stitch. T-Stitch is a great open background stitch that works on almost any project! T-Stitch is made up of a combination of Tent Stitches and Reverse Tent Stitches arranged in alternating rows. It has a small repeat, so it's a great choice when you will need to do a lot of compensating or when you don't have much space.
The green and pink solid colored borders are stitched in Satin Stitch! This is a quick and easy way to cover a linear area that is two to four canvas threads wide! Simply place diagonal long stitches on a consistent diagonal from one edge of the area to the other. Check out our diagram below for a visual!
The remainder of the kit is simply stitched in basketweave or tent stitch!
