New colors of Essentials have arrived!

If you've been shopping with us for a while, you will likely already know just how much we love the needlepoint thread Essentials. So, we were over the moon when we found out that the line was growing by 68 new colors! They just arrived in the shop yesterday and we cannot wait to introduce you to them!

Essentials is a single strand thread that comes from Planet Earth. You may be familiar with some of their other fibers- Pepper Pot Silk, Planet Earth Silk and Planet Earth Wool. They are all wonderful to work with. Essentials is a Wool/Silk blend that we recommend for stitchers of all skill levels. It is really designed for use on 18 count canvas. It’s only $2.85 for a 10 yard card. This means, it's a fabulous choice for any of those tiny color areas where you don't want to spend a ton of money on a full skein of thread. For bigger color areas, Essentials is now also available in 30 yard skeins! (Skeins of new colors coming soon).

We are so excited about the new additions to the color palate. There are wonderful citrusy yellows, pinky purples and lots of shades of aqua. For more neutral colors, they have added to the selection of browns and blues!
