Introducing Planet Earth Milan!
Planet Earth has done it again! We're delighted to share a brand new fiber... Milan. If you are a fan of Pepper Pot, Planet Earth Silk or Essentials, you are sure to love this one too!
Milan is a 50/50 silk/merino wool blend. It is very similar in feel to Essentials (designed for use on 18 count canvas)- but Milan is thicker and designed for full coverage on 13 count canvas. It comes in a 30 yard skein. Milan is a single strand thread, meaning you cut one strand to work with and use it just as it comes off the skein. This makes it a wonderful fiber for all needlepointers- no matter your skill level.
We had the opportunity to stitch with some Milan this week. It is luxuriously soft! Truly delightful to work with and so easy to pull through the canvas. The colors are warm and inviting. A must have addition to any stitcher's stash!
